CCE Energy Services was formed in early 2018 when the owner left his previous jobs in insulation installation and extraction to specialise in the extraction of ineffective cavity wall insulation.
After spending most of his working life in the insulation industry working for large companies. In 2017 it was apparent that a gap in the market had appeared for specialists in the extraction of this insulation following a large increase in the amount of legal claims being made against the original installers. These claims were being made as a result of the insulation now causing damp and mould in properties. Seeing the effect this was having on individuals as well as on the large companies who had once specialised in installation, Craig Derrick and Craig Lockwood worked hard to independently form Craig & Craig Extractions Ltd, a company specialising in the removal of cavity wall insulation to be registered as CCE Ltd.
In 2020, both as a result of COVID-19 and the changing market, Craig Lockwood left the company leaving Craig Derrick running the business with his wife. Despite COVID-19, the company has gone from strength to strength, has large subcontracting contracts and CCE are becoming a well-known and reputable company in the insulation industry. With the millions of homes in the UK that are still waiting on removal of ineffective and poorly installed insulation, CCE have increased capacity with more staff and are ever expanding.
